CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University women's swimming team continued its winning ways, downing the Misericordia Cougars 158-95 in a MAC meet on Saturday afternoon.

Angelina Franceschini continued her strong rookie campaign, winning the 200 fly with a time of 2:16.20. She also touched first in the 100 free in 56.88. Completing her individual day, she won the 500 free with a time of 5:41.72.

Jill Bujanowski also won three individual events, first claiming the top spot in the 200 free, touching the wall in 2:00.59. Later, the junior won the 200 back, clocking in at 2:18.22. Wrapping up, she won the 100 fly in 1:00.69.

Eva Partridge won the 1,000 free in a time of 11:34.64.
Kaylin Augustine contributed with a victory in the 50 free with a time of 26.07.

Widener returns to action on Saturday, January 12, 2019 when it travels to Cabrini.
