Broadcast/Live Stream

Widener University’s Athletic Communications Department will be responsible for all aspects of a live stream or broadcast. Broadcasts/live streams, which are on Widener’s MACtv portal, can be found here.

Credentials
Widener University’s Athletic Communications Department and Event Management will be responsible for issuing and maintaining any credentials for home events. For events requiring credentials, requests must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the day of the event.

Credentials requests must be made via the form located on the Widener University Athletic website. Credentials will be available for pickup at ticket sales and will need a photo ID to be issued a credential. Widener University Athletics has the right to assign or revoke any credential at any time. Disclaimer
The rules/guidelines listed here are for ALL of Widener's athletic complexes, not just Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium. These include the Schwartz Athletic Center, Edith R. Dixon Field, Widener Softball Field, and Widener Baseball Field.

  • Throwing objects on the court or fields

  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Pets
  • Coolers
  • Illegal drugs
  • Tobacco products, illegal substances, e-cigarettes
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Items that may be used as a weapon
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Explosives (e.g. fireworks or similar nature)
Parking
Parking is available for all events. All parking will be first come first serve. Parking for all events except football will be free. Parking for football games will be cash only and will be $5.

Parking for Dixon Field will be directly adjacent to the field with overflow parking into the back lot of the Schwartz Center.

Parking for the Schwartz Center will be the front and back lots with overflow parking being the baseball field outfield.

Parking for Quick Stadium will be the gravel spots located on Quick Stadium Drive with overflow being the Schwartz Center parking lots. Note: Football games will have parking blocked off for credentialed personnel in certain areas.

Pet Policy
Animals/pets are not permitted in any Widener University Athletic Facility at any time. Service animals will be allowed with the proper identification.

Programs
Game programs will be all digital. All game programs will be available via a QR code posted at entrance doors and on our athletic website.

Lightning Safety Policy

This policy applies to all athletic competitions and practices to be held at the Baseball Field, Edith R. Dixon Field, Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium, George A. Hansel Track, Schwartz Athletic Center, Pride Recreation Center, the Softball field, and any other site where the University is the host.

In the event that one or more events are being played, if game officials suspend one event, then all events shall be suspended. *Fully enclosed metal vehicles such as school buses, cars and vans are also considered safe locations.

Schedules
The team schedules for Widener Athletics are available at www.widenerpride.com. Schedule updates will be communicated through press releases on the website.

Signage
Signage will be permitted at all events. Widener University has the right to remove any signage at any time if deemed inappropriate or derogatory.

Sportsmanship Statement
Widener University, the Middle Atlantic Conference, and NCAA promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, and fans. We expect your cooperation in supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed towards one’s identity or perceived identity will NOT be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

Widener University has many traditions, but bad sportsmanship is NOT one of them.

Tickets/Seating
Tickets will be available on site as a first come first serve basis. Tickets will be cash only.

  • Seniors: $3
  • Non-Widener Students w/ an ID Card: $2
  • Widener Students w/ an ID Card: Free
  • Children 12 and under: Free
University Campus Safety
Campus Safety will be at all events and will be stationed at various points around the facility. Campus Safety has the right to remove any individual for any reason if deemed necessary and will provide event security throughout the event.
