CHESTER, Pa. – As an NCAA Division III institution, the Widener University Athletics Department prides itself on having its student-athletes and athletic programs excel in the classroom, on the playing surface and in the community through civic engagement opportunities.
 
In collaboration with the communications department at Widener, several student-athletes have been interviewed about their experiences of being a Division III student-athlete at Widener and will be featured through a video series over the course of the spring semester.
 
Our fifth featured student-athlete is Anna Pelligra, a junior women's swimming captain who has been an All-Middle Atlantic Conference Second Team selection as well as a member of the league's all-sportsmanship squad.
