CHESTER, Pa. – Widener Women's Swimming takes a 2-1 evening in the final meets in the Schwartz Athletic Center
The Pride downed Lebanon Valley 159-34 and Immaculata 137-62 while falling to Bryn Mawr 119-83. After the 2-1 evening, Widener moves to 4-7 in the regular season and 3-3 in conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Widener's A relay would open the meet with a second place in the 200-yard medley relay.
Caroline Anderson,
Hailey Webster,
Kylie Rodi, and
Megan Shallow would touch in a 2:00.58.
Olivia Giambalvo dominated the 1000-yard free with an 11:21.68 to win by over 30 seconds.
Kaitlyn Beden took fourth to earn points in the 200-yard free with a 2:17.98.
In the 50-yard free, sprint specialist
Megan Shallow won with a 25.74. Anderson took third with a 27.38.
Webster's 200-yard individual medley showed a 2:33.80 for a second place.
Giambalvo split the teams in the 100-yard butterfly with a 1:09.40.
Olivia Wainstein's 100-yard free captured third with a 1:00.65 final time.
Shallow just missed first in the 100-yard backstroke with 1:06.60 by 0.10.
The 500-yard free showed Anderson taking second after touching in a 5:52.28. Beden took fifth in 6:06.00.
Bella Fanelli led the breaststroke group in the 100-yard race as the first year touched in a 1:14.64. Wainstein followed 0.30 later while
Tyla Block hit the pad in a 1:17.01.
The final event showed the A relay consisting of Giambalvo,
Caileigh Foveaux, Webster, and Wainstein touching in a 1:50.18.

Widener heads to York, Pa. on Saturday, January 24 to face 7-2 (3-1 MAC) York Spartans. Meet time is set for noon.
