Two of Widener's assistant track & field coaches recently made news away from campus.
Nick Price last weekend competed at the United States of America Track & Field (USATF) National Championships in Albuquerque, NM. He took part in the shot put, competing for the Shore Athletic Club, and had a toss of 16.78 meters.
Frank Squibb served as a clinician at the Klub Keihas Throwing Clinic from March 5-6 in Denver, PA. He is the head throws coach for the Pride and is USATF Level 2 certified.
Widener last Saturday won its 14th Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championship. The squad this weekend is competing at the ECAC Championships in Northampton, MA.
