NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener Women's Lacrosse has been placed fifth in the 2026 MAC Coaches' Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference office on Thursday (Jan. 22).
 
Widener received 27 total points.
 
York, the defending champions, took the first spot with 49 points and all seven first place votes. Stevenson was moved to the number two spot with 43 points and Eastern rounded out the top three with 37 points. Under Widener is Hood with 19 points.
 
Widener returns to Hirschmann Field at Quick Stadium after a 4-14 (3-4 MAC Commonwealth) season. The Pride would advance to the conference semifinals against No. 10 York at the time.
