PHILADELPHIA - Junior Widener Women's Basketball player
Mia Robbins named to City of Basketball Love First Team All-Area.
This season the Pride went to an 18-9 overall record and a 10-4 MAC Commonwealth record. The Pride returned to the MAC Commonwealth Championship game for the second year in a row.
"The 5-foot-11 post player from Voorhees, N.J., has been a force for Widner since she first stepped foot on campus. Robbins has averaged exactly 8.4 rpg in each of her first three seasons, while her scoring average has increased each year from 12.4 to 14.6 to 18.0 ppg. She surpassed the 1,000-points this season and will enter her senior year with 1,120 career points. Robbins was named first-team All-MAC Commonwealth in leading Widener to an 18-9 and the MAC Commonwealth championship game." (Courtesy of City of Basketball Love)
