NEWTOWN, Pa. - Widener Women's Track and Field distance specialist Gabby Nye continued to show dominance with another school record to earn MAC Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office (Apr. 21).

Gabby Nye broke her own school record in the 1,500-meter with a time of 4:27.27 at the Paul Donahue Invitational. She also won the 800-meter race on Saturday and currently ranks 10th nationally in the 1,500-meter.

Nye heads back to competition on Thursday, April 23 at the historic Penn Relays in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
