EWING, Pa. & LEWISBURG, Pa. – The records keep falling for
Gabby Nye as her own 5000-meter falls on Saturday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED AT TCNJ MULTI & INVITE
On Friday,
Isabel Rodriguez would win the hammer throw with a mark of 48.44-meters for a season best.
Jillian Walker placed fourth with a 40.43-meters.
Saturday track would open with
Jayla Gore,
Ziraya Snowden,
Zahara Simmons, and
Erica Thomas placing second in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 49.87.
Z. Simmons took fourth in the 100-meter prelims after clocking a 15.93 in prelims. She would clock a 16.71 at finals.
Gore qualified for finals in the 100-meter dash after her 12.71. In finals Gore saw a 12.68. Snowden would just miss finals with a 12.86.
Veronic Ashcraft saw a personal best 1:04.20 in the 400-meter.
Alyssa Kolimaga saw a season best 1:04.76.
Loralei Golembiewski took second in the 800-meter with a personal best 2:22.58.
Erin O'Brien clocked a season best with a 2:32.90 while
Amber Wilsey ran in personal best 2:38.28.
The Pride finished four back-to-back with Thomas and Snowden leading with a 26.44 in the 200-meter. Kolimaga clocked a 26.97 while Z. Simmons saw a 27.12.
In the pole vault
Amanda Simpson vaulted to a 2.60-meter height.
Tirzah Simmons took fourth in the long jump with a 5.28-meter mark.
Aisosa Washington threw a personal best shot put to place fifth. Washington's mark showed a 10.65-meter distance.
Sani Hamlin's throw showed a 9.36-meter mark.
Washington would end her day with a 27.65-meter discus.
HOW IT HAPPENED AT BUCKNELL OUTDOOR CLASSIC
Gabby Nye took on the 5000-meter at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic. Nye would clock a 16:21.59 to shatter her own school record by almost 15 seconds.
