1/8/2026 3:15:00 PM

CHESTER, Pa. – Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Robb Chambers has announced the 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon, which includes eight home contests.

"We are excited to kick off the 2026 season," said Coach Chambers. "We have a veteran group who worked extremely hard and had a very productive fall semester. Our student-athletes and coaches are excited for the opportunity to compete and represent Widener University."

THE 2026 SCHEDULE
The Pride open the 16-game stretch with a short trip to Swarthmore on February 14. A short game schedule in February wraps up with a trip to Shenandoah in Va. before hosting Washington College on February 25 for the first home game on Hirschmann Field.

Six games show up in March before MAC Commonwealth play rolls in. An always even contest against Gwynedd Mercy faces off at home on March 4. Ithaca makes an appearance in Chester, Pa. three days later before the Pride head to St. Leo, Fla. for a neutral site game against Western New England. March concludes with a trip to Glenside, Pa. and Center Valley, Pa. for a MAC Commonwealth-MAC Freedom matchup against Arcadia and DeSales.

Coach Chambers feels "the MAC Commonwealth is one of the toughest conferences in the country and our players are ready for the challenge that lies ahead this spring." Conference play consumes the month of April with an April Fool's Day contest set against Eastern. A key game emerges later in the month against Hood on April 18 for a late-night game on Hirschmann Field. Home conference play wraps up on April 22 against Alvernia while another key game appears for the final game of the regular season verse Messiah on April 25.
