NEWTOWN, Pa. – For the 2025 season, the Widener Men's Soccer team secured the third spot in the MAC Commonwealth Preseason Coaches' poll, as revealed by the conference office on Tuesday (Aug. 19).
In the poll, Widener secured 34 points, comfortably positioned between York, which earned 43 points, and Alvernia, with 32 points. Messiah claimed the top position with 49 points, receiving seven first-place votes.
Last season, the Pride finished with a record of 9-7-4 (4-2-1 in the MAC Commonwealth), ultimately falling short of qualifying for the conference playoffs.
