ASTON, Pa. - Widener Men's fell behind late in the first half and were unable to recover against the Neumann University Knights.
The Pride are now 1-3-0 on the season and 0-0 in conference play.
BY THE NUMBERS
- The Pride had 8 shots (5 on goal). The Knights had 12 shots (5 on goal).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights put pressure on Widener early, putting a shot on goal at the 2:11 mark but Tristan Willey made the save. The Pride responded a few minutes later with their own shot on goal but it was saved by the Knights goalkeeper. The Knights would eventually land the first blow at the 42:47 mark taking a 1-0 lead right before halftime.
- The Pride came out of the locker room ready to play, putting two shots on goal at the 51:10 and 51:21 marks. The Pride were unable to connect on either of these shots and Neumann quickly stole back the momentum, taking a 2-0 lead at 59:57. The Knights would ice the game at 74:39 taking a 3-0 lead and handing Widener their third loss of the season.
