CHESTER, Pa. - Widener Men's Soccer was able to bounce back from a tough loss and take home a win against the Lycoming College Warriors.
The Pride are now 1-1-0 on the season and 0-0 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- During the first half of action, the defenses shined with each side only attempting four shots. The Pride were able to get two shots on goal at the 12:54 mark and the 21:02 mark but were unable to convert. The game would go into the half locked in a 0-0 tie.
- The Pride were finally able to break through in the second half as Michael Burckley scored the go-ahead goal at 58:14 after Jordi Lopez delivered him a beautiful pass. One goal proved to be all the Pride needed as their defense continued to put pressure on the Lycoming offense. The Warriors managed to get off a shot on goal at the 88:03 mark but Tristan Willey made the save and Widener walked out of Quick Stadium with a 1-0 win.
