CHESTER, Pa. - Head Men's Soccer Coach
Ross Liberati has announced the 2025 schedule on Thursday afternoon which includes the annual Delco Classic and eight home contests on Hirschmann Field.
This year's schedule displays a strong group of opponents as the Pride look to continue their successes on the pitch. Of the 16 games slated, half are set for various start times on Hirschmann Field at Quick Stadium. The season begins with the annual Delco Classic and also includes a full lineup of MAC Commonwealth competitors. Postseason play is slated for early November.

"We designed our 2025 schedule to push the program forward in the new era of the NPI ranking system," said Coach Liberati. "This team is hungry to compete, chase quality results, and hopefully put Widener back into the national conversation this fall!"
The 2025 Schedule
"We've lined up some of the top teams in the in the region, and under the new NCAA selection system, that's exactly how you earn recognition." The Pride opens the grueling season with a visit from Gettysburg on August 29 who played a handful of games against top 25 teams in the nation. The Delco Classic continues on August 30 against Lycoming after coming off a loss in the Landmark Conference Championship last season. A tough weekend of play continues on September 6 as the Pride host Dickinson. The Red Devils are coming off a long postseason stretch after falling to Washington and Lee in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament. Newly joined member of the MAC Commonwealth Neumann will host the Pride on September 9 as another tournament team appears on the schedule. September's stretch extends to a visit from nearby Swarthmore on the 16th and Johns Hopkins on the 24th. Johns Hopkins is hot off a streak in the NCAA Tournament where they fell to No. 21 Washington and Lee in pks.
An early battle against top ranked Messiah beings MAC Commonwealth play on October 4 as the Pride head to Grantham, Pa. Another NCAA Tournament team makes an appearance on the October lineup as the Pride head to Muhlenberg on October 8. The Pride will look to extend their win streak to six against Hood on Homecoming and the first conference game in Quick Stadium. The final two home games of the season come on October 22 and 25 against Albright and York. A short trip to St. David's, Pa. to visit Eastern concludes the conference schedule on November 1 before the Pride look farther into postseason play.
