YORK, Pa. – Widener Women's Swimming capture fifth in pre-championship coaches' poll ahead of conference championships.
 
This year's MAC Championships are set for Feb. 13-16 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa. Preliminaries will begin at 9:30 a.m. each morning.
 
On the women's side of the conference, Stevens was picked first with 97 total points and nine first place votes. Messiah heads into championships with 85 points for second and Misericordia third with 79 points. The Pride hold 71 points for fifth, just third points behind York.
 
The Pride would finish their dual meet season with a 7-4 record and a 5-2 conference record. The Blue and Gold saw a second-place finish at the Cougar Splash Invitational and downed Arcadia on senior day by 60 points.
 
Last season the Pride finished fifth with 751 points with a 200-point cushion on either side.
