CHESTER, Pa. — In accordance with current state guidelines, Widener University will allow visitors on campus for the Spring 2022 semester, beginning Jan. 26. All visitors are required to be masked at all times and we ask that any visitor feeling ill not come to campus.
Spectators will be permitted to attend indoor athletic events, beginning Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022:
- Spectators are required to bring and wear a mask at all times while in indoor spaces on campus. Masks must be worn properly including fully covering the nose and mouth.
- Non-compliant spectators will be given one warning. If they have to be approached a second time, they will be removed from the venue.
- Campus Safety will have at least one officer and Athletics at least one staff member at every event walking the venue to make sure spectators are compliant.
- We will have printed reminders and public address announcements throughout the event to assure compliance.
