HOW IT HAPPENED
The Shoremen struck first with a score five minutes in, but the Pride responded less than a minute later on a goal from Connor Ball. Gismondi and Drew Dunn delivered on a man advantage after a Washington penalty while another score from Gismondi gave Widener a 4-1 lead after a quarter of play. The Blue and Gold cracked the game wide open in the second, finding the scoreboard seven more times, including three goals from Coppola. A strong nine save performance in the first half by Landry allowed the Pride to enter halftime up 11-5.

Widener continued to extend its lead in the third, tacking on three more goals to give it a comfortable seven point cushion entering the final quarter. Despite four late Shoremen scores in the fourth, the Pride was able to close the deal as it rolled to its third win of the season.
