LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Widener Men's Lacrosse senior
Nicholas Knepp was named to the USILA Scholar All-American Team, announced on Tuesday (July 7).
In order to be considered for the Scholar All-American Team an individual must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, hold a senior academic status, and receive honors at the conference level or higher for their on field successes.
Senior midfielder
Nicholas Knepp represents Widener on the All-Conference Second Team, the Academic All-MAC squad, and the CSC Academic All-District team after a strong and consistent season. Knepp appeared in 15 games, making four starts, and totaled 17 goals and 21 assists for 38 points to lead the team in assists. He added 20 ground balls and nine caused turnovers, contributing on both ends of the field. Knepp recorded multiple multi-point performances throughout the season, including a season-high five points on three goals and two assists in a tight contest against Hood, along with a five-point outing against York (Pa.) behind two goals and three assists. He also tallied four points in a win over Gwynedd Mercy early in the season. Knepp closed out his senior campaign as a key offensive facilitator for the Pride, consistently creating opportunities and leading the attack.
