HAVERFORD, Pa. – Allison Reuter broke the school record in the weight throw to lead the Widener University women's indoor track & field team at the Seamus McElligott Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
 

• Reuter threw 15.53 meters to surpass Rachel Heisler's previous weight throw record of 15.44 meters in 2014.
• Kaylynne Timmons, Bella Hill, Alexus Morra and Michaela Mertz all combined for a second place finish in the 4x200 meter with a time of 1:58.33. Timmons also notched second place with 8.36 in the 60 meter.
• Alaina Johnson finished first in the 60 meter hurdles clocking in at 9.26 and Claire Burkert earned a third place finish with 10 seconds flat.
• Johnson, Dani Peyton and Ale Borbolla-Diaz all finished in the top-three for the 200 meter. Johnson finished first with 27.43, Peyton followed with 27.57 and Borbolla-Diaz clocked in at 28.09 for third, respectively.
• Abbie Sheerer cleared 1.42 meters for a first place finish in the high jump.
• Hailey Welchans cleared 2.90 meters for first in the pole vault, Darby Reiss earned second with 2.75 meters and Caroline Fitzpatrick finished third with 2.60 meter.

The Pride will return to action when it travels to Collegeville, Pa. for the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.
