Men's Lacrosse Falls, 10-6, at No. 10 Dickinson

Widener's third game this season against a nationally ranked school ended in a 10-6 loss at No. 10 Dickinson in Carlisle, PA.
 
Despite only holding a 17-16 shots edge at halftime, the Red Devils (6-1) opened a 7-2 lead thanks to two goals from Christian Beitel.  Sam Abramson and Matt Cherry had a goal and an assist in that spurt.
 
Junior Josh Fox (Wynnewood, PA) scored three times with senior Brian Rogers (Malvern, PA) getting two goals for the Pride (1-5).  Sophomore Mac Nestler (Chatham, NJ) made eight saves over 30 minutes.
 
In addition to Beitel, Cherry and Will Scott also scored twice for the Red Devils.  Cherry dished three assists, Chip Murray went 15-of-18 on face-offs and Greg Hanley made nine saves.
 
Widener earlier this season fell to No. 5 Cortland, 9-5 on February 25 and fourth-ranked Stevenson, 11-3 on March 7.
 
Widener on Tuesday is home against Eastern Connecticut State, starting at 7:00 pm.
