Track & Field Competes at Albright Invitational

Widener again had solid results as it competed at the Albright Invitational in Reading, PA.

Freshman Eric Solomon (Columbia, PA) was second in the men's weight throw at 13.15 meters, junior Ed Maloney (Lincoln University, PA) closed third at 13.07 meters and sophomore William Wall (Williamstown, NJ) was fifth at 12.08 meters. Sophomore Kyle Gunning (Delran, NJ) finished third in the men's shot put at 12.92 meters.

Freshman Erica Szpynda (Berwick, PA) ended second in the women's shot put at 10.55 meters. Sophomore Rebecca Sewell (Hackettstown, NJ) closed third in the shot put at 9.97 meters and fifth in the weight throw at 10.35 meters.

Widener on Wednesday competes at the Haverford Tri-Meet in Haverford, PA.
