Track and Field Continues to Roll at Lafayette/Rider Winter Games

Widener once again looked in top shape as it competed in the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games at the famed New York Armory.

Jacob Munick (Narberth, PA) took the weight throw by covering 15.88 meters and fellow senior Robert Innocent (Fairfax, VA) was fourth in the 60-meter dash in 7.12 seconds. Freshman Eric Solomon (Columbia, PA) ended fourth in the weight throw at 14.11 meters and junior Michael Garrity (Briarcliffe, PA) closed fifth in the mile run in 4:17.50.

Junior Brooke McDonald (Drexel Hill, PA) was second in the pole vault at 3.30 meters and sophomore Darcela Llanos (Abington, PA) ended sixth in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.69.
