Widener's men's lacrosse team has postponed its season opener against No. 2 Stevenson to Sunday at 3:00 pm and it will be played on the campus of Eastern University in St. Davids, PA.

Widener enters the season having won four of the last five Middle Atlantic Conference championships and posted double figures in victories eight straight years.

The squad once again received national recognition before the campaign as senior defender Nick Politarhos (Ridley, PA) was named Honorable Mention Preseason All-America by Inside Lacrosse Magazine.  It marks the fourth straight year the Pride have one of their own so honored.
