NEWTOWN, Pa. - Widener Women's Volleyball was tabbed fourth in the MAC Commonwealth Coaches' Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference office on Friday (Aug. 21).

In the poll, Widener received 39 points, placing the Pride between Messiah with 55 points and two first-place votes and York with 32 points. Stevenson claimed the top spot with 59 points and four first-place votes, followed closely by Eastern with 57 points and three first-place votes.

The Pride closed out the 2025 season with an 8-20 overall record and a 4-3 mark in MAC Commonwealth play, narrowly missing out on a spot in the conference playoffs.

The 2026 season is set to get underway on September 1, with the Pride hosting Haverford at 7 p.m. in the season opener.
