CHESTER, Pa. – Widener Women's Volleyball has unveiled its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive slate packed with regional rivals, tournament appearances, and a demanding MAC Commonwealth schedule as the Pride prepare for another fall campaign.
THE 2026 SCHEDULE
The Pride will open the year with a pair of early non-conference contests beginning at home on September 1, when Haverford visits Chester for a 7 p.m. matchup. Widener then heads to Rutgers-Camden two days later for its first road contest of the season. The Pride returns home on September 9 to host Misericordia, closing out the opening stretch before tournament action begins.
Widener's first tournament appearance comes at the Knights Invitational, hosted by Neumann on September 11-12 in Aston, Pa. After the invitational, Widener returns home for a busy stretch in Chester, starting with a matchup against Albright on September 15 and another home contest against Moravian on September 17, both scheduled for 7 p.m. The home-heavy stretch continues on September 19, when Widener hosts a tri-match at Schwartz Athletic Center, followed by another home contest against Hood on September 23.
Widener's second tournament weekend arrives on September 25-26, when the Pride travel to Center Valley, Pa. for the DeSales Invitational. Conference play officially begins on September 29, when Widener opens MAC Commonwealth competition with a road matchup against Eastern in St. Davids, Pa. before returning to Chester for their conference home opener on October 1, hosting Washington College at 7 p.m.
As the calendar moves deeper into October, the MAC Commonwealth schedule intensifies. Widener travels to face Alvernia on October 7 before returning home for a key conference matchup against York on October 14. One of the most challenging non-conference tests of the season follows shortly after, as the Pride head to Rochester, N.Y. on October 16 to take on RIT. The final tournament appearance of the regular season comes on October 24, when Widener travels to William Paterson for another tri-match. The Pride travel to Stevenson on October 27, then head to Messiah on October 29 for another crucial conference showdown. The regular season concludes at home on November 4, when Widener welcomes Neumann to Chester for a 7 p.m. finale.
