NEWTOWN, Pa. – Claire Lynch of Widener Women's Lacrosse has been named the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week for her performance in the week ending February 23, as announced by the conference office.

Lynch matched her career high with five goals, including the game-winner in Widener's victory over Swarthmore College. The sophomore midfielder scored three goals during a decisive run that shifted momentum in favor of the Pride and helped secure the program's third-ever win over the Garnet.

Widener will look to carry the momentum from the milestone victory into its upcoming contests as they start the season 1-0.
