NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Widener Women's Lacrosse sophomore Claire Lynch was garnered IWLCA Second Team All-Region on Friday (May 15).

Sophomore midfielder Claire Lynch picks up her first All-Region selection following beinging named to the MAC First Team All-Conference after an outstanding all-around season. Lynch played and started in 17 games, was second on the Pride with 43 goals and adding two assists for 45 points. She also contributed 44 draw controls, 31 ground balls, and 19 caused turnovers. Lynch posted a season-high six goals and seven points in a dominant win over Eastern on April 1, while also recording five-goal performances against Swarthmore and Alvernia. She closed the season with strong offensive production down the stretch, including 13 goals over her final five games.
