HAVERFORD, Pa. – A Friday night of competition at Haverford's Keogh Invitational showed a handful of Widener women's track and field competitors in one final meet before conference championships.
HOW IT HAPPENED ON THE TRACK
The Pride would open the meet with a first overall finish in the 4x200-meter relay. Tirzah Snowden,
Zahara Simmons,
Erica Thomas, and
Allyson Hakes would capture a 1:49.34.
Z. Simmons took fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a final time of 9.90.
In the 60-meter dash,
Jayla Gore took third with an 8.22 final.
The 400-meter showed
Veronica Ashcraft leading the group with a 1:04.76.
Katelyn Fox would come right after with a 1:05.53. Hakes captured a 1:06.65.
Loralei Golembiewski placed fourth in the 800-meter run with a 2:26.52.
Hakes led the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.14. Fox clocked a 28.50 while Ashcraft clocked a 28.82. Gore would come in after with a 28.84.
The 3000-meter run showed
Sarah Paulin taking third with an 11:34.48.
HOW IT HAPPENED IN THE FIELD
In the pole vault,
Elizabeth Lysak marked a 2.55-meter height while
Amanda Simpson cleared 2.40-meters.
Snowden won the long jump with a mark of 5.15-meters. Mia Flemming jumped to a 4.98-meter distance to take fourth.
Flemming took second in the triple jump with a final mark of 10.89-meters.

Widener heads to Reading, Pa. for the 2026 MAC Indoor Championships at the PLEX Fieldhouse. The meet will begin on Friday, February 27 and conclude on Saturday, February 28.
