NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener Women's Lacrosse has been placed fourth in the 2026 MAC Coaches' Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday (Jan. 21).
 
Widener received 31 total points.
 
York, the defending champions, took the first spot with 49 points and all seven first place votes. Messiah and Stevenson took the second and third spots while Hood is placed fifth with 25 points.
 
Widener returns to Edith R. Dixon Field after an 8-10 (4-3 MAC Commonwealth) season. The Pride would advance to the conference semifinals against No. 8 York at the time.
