The Pride improve to 2-1 on the season and remain 0-0 in conference play.

The Pride controlled play early, firing off 13 shots and seven penalty corners in the opening frame. Karly Bervinchak tallied six shots, while Kayleigh Armstrong added four, Anabella Cenci added two, and Haye added one. Despite the pressure, the Aggies keeper Brooke Golbeski made eight saves to hold the Pride scoreless at 0–0.

In the second quarter, the Pride continued to push offensively. Megan Bryk had a shot early, but it was blocked, before Quartapella scored with an assist from Karly Bervinchak to put the Pride on the board 1-0. The Pride added to their lead later in the period as Karly Bervinchak found the back of the net, giving the Pride a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime. The Aggies generated a couple of penalty corners, but Fithian and the defense held strong, keeping the Pride in control.

The Pride carried their momentum into the third quarter, maintaining pressure and generating multiple scoring opportunities. Karly Bervinchak had a shot on goal right before Haye scored her first goal of the season, assisted by Armstrong, to make it 3-0. More shots and penalty corners by the Pride would take up the remainder of the third. The Pride would enter the fourth period firmly in command up 3-0.

In the fourth quarter, Widener closed out the game. Cenci had multiple shots on goal, and Thompson converted a penalty corner opportunity from Krista Bervinchak to make it 4-0, for her first career goal. Fithian was replaced by Rejrat in goal late in the period, and the Pride's defense held strong, preserving the shutout despite several late Delaware Valley penalty corners and shots.
