CHESTER, Pa. – Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Carideo has announced the 2025-26 schedule on Monday afternoon, which opens with the annual Tip-Off for Autism Awareness Tournament in the Schwartz Athletic Center.
The Pride are set to play 25 games during the season with more than half on home grounds.
"Our 2025-2026 Men's Basketball team is extremely excited about the start of the new basketball season," said Coach Carideo. "With so many new faces we are looking forward to the process of blending the returners and the new players into a connected unit! We believe our strong non-conference schedule will help prepare us for the rigors of MAC Commonwealth play."
THE 2025-26 SCHEDULE
The Pride open the 25-game schedule with the annual Tip-Off for Autism Awareness Tournament as they welcome PSU-Abington, Arcadia, and Washington & Jefferson to the Schwartz Athletic center. November 14 begins with a neutral site Arcadia vs Washington & Jefferson game as Widener faces PSU-Abington immediately after. Day two continues with a neutral site PSU Abington vs Washington & Jefferson game while Arcadia plays the Pride after.
A three-game home stretch wraps up November with visits from Neumann, Ursinus, and Wilson.
The Pride are set to play four games in December with a new game date scheduled for just before New Year's Eve. The Sea Gulls of Salisbury make the trip back to Chester, Pa. on December 13 and the year concludes at Swarthmore on the December 30.
The new year opens with a visit to Stockton, a first-round team in the NCAA Tournament, and a neutral site game against Rowan who fell to Stockton in the NJAC Quarterfinal.
Conference play is set to begin with a trip to Alvernia on January 7 before Messiah visits the Schwartz Center on January 10. Two tough road games appear on January 17 and 21 at Hood and Albright, both postseason tournament teams. York enters the picture on January 28 in Chester, Pa. while Hood rounds out January.
The second half of the conference season appears in February with Albright and Alvernia coming to the Schwartz Center on February 11 and 14. A weekday game against York on February 18 and a weekend game against Stevenson on February 21 conclude the regular season.
Postseason play is scheduled for February 25-28 with the semifinal games set for February 28 and the championship game set for February 28. The winner will receive an automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament.
TICKETS
Digital tickets will be available for all home basketball games played at Schwartz Athletic Center in single game passes and full season passes. All fans looking to purchase general admission single game tickets can do so starting Monday (October 27) via the ticket link located on the season schedule. Fans looking to purchase a season pass will be able to do so shortly after the beginning of November.
