BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A strong showing from Widener Women's Track and Field showed an
Alyssa Kolimaga personal best in the 200-meter dash at Lehigh's Fast Times Before Finals,
HOW IT HAPPENED ON FRIDAY
Sydni Bell competed in the pentathlon and began on Friday with the 60-meter hurdles where she clocked a 9.93. In the high jump, Bell put up a 1.36-meter height. Bell continued in the shot put with a 8.84-meter distance and did not compete in the 800-meter and long jump.
HOW IT HAPPENED ON SATURDAY
Tirzah Simmons opened her collegiate career in the long jump where she took fourth with a mark of 5.16-meters.
Sani Hamlin marked a 9.30-meter distance in the shot put before competing in the 60-meter prelims where she clocked an 8.88.
Alyssa Kolimaga ran a personal best in the 400-meter with a time of 1:04.03.
Allyson Hakes clocked a 1:29.78 in the 500-meter run to begin her season.
The 200-meter dash showed Kolimaga leading with a 27.79. Simmons finished just after with a 27.97. Ziraya Snowden would come in with a 28.69 and Hamlin rounded out the Pride with a 30.05.
