Mariam Koita display top speed at Penn Relays on Friday afternoon to advance to Saturday Finals.
PENN RELAYS
The Pride would send the 4x100 relay team to the 129
th running of Penn Relays. Muzzarelli, Robinson, Simmons, and Koita would compete in the 4x100 Eastern heats on Friday afternoon and place second in their heat with a 48.21. The quad returned Saturday to run a 48.50.
COVERT CLASSIC
Jayla Gore and
Emma Schultz took on the 100-meter dash. Gore clocked a 13.05 to earn a conference qualification time. Schultz clocked a 13.46.
Schultz continued in the 200-meter dash where she ran a 27.89.
Allyson Hakes would run in a 28.62.
Hakes would run a 1:04.23 in the 400-meter along with
Olivia DeVito running a 1:04.67.
Loralei Golembiewski clocked a 5:14.90 in the 1500-meter run.
Turning to the field,
Adeline Kraics marked a 40.57-meter distance in the discus.
Jillian Walker threw a 29.26-meter toss while
Jayden McCracken tossed a 29.17 on her second attempt.
Isabel Rodriguez took fourth overall with a 48.78-meter throw in the hammer.
Anna Baukal threw a 38.54 on her second attempt while Kraics's third showed a 38.07-meter distance.
Kaitlyn Helbig advanced to finals with her longest javelin throw being her last to show a 26.06-meter mark.
