HOW IT HAPPENED
-
The Pride's offense would start hot, starting with an 8-0 run and six straight Robbins points. The rest of the quarter would not go Widener's way however, as the Mustangs would shoot over 44% from the field for the quarter including four threes to lead the Pride 22-14 after one.
-
Led by Robbins and Kutz, Widener would close the deficit in the second half led through the steals, quick scores, and great free throw shooting. Riley Stackhouse would sink her third free throw of the quarter to regain the lead at 31-30, and another Robbins jumper would push the lead further. A Kutz steal would lead to a Grace Egli shot, as the Pride would lead at half 35-31.
-
Kutz's shot and Robbin's and-one would see the Pride push their lead to 40-31, and with a few Mustangs turnovers Widener was able to run the break for easy scores. Ava Baers fastbreak layup would give Widener a double-digit lead at 49-38, but the Mustangs would respond with a scoring run of their own to keep the lead in check. A Kimberly Casiello three-pointer would finish the third quarter had the Widener would still find themselves up 54-44.

Both teams would enter the final quarter trading points well for the first four minutes of play, but Widener would erupt to close it out. The Pride would finish going on a 10-0 run to put a dominate seal on the game, as Kaitlyn Kearney and Mary McFillin would highlight with big free throws on the run.
