CHESTER, Pa. – Widener Men's Soccer secured its second win of the season in dominant fashion over the Penn State Brandywine Nittany Lions.
The Pride are now 2-2-1 on the season and remain 0-0 in conference play.
BY THE NUMBERS
· The Pride had 21 shots (12 on goal). The Nittany Lions had 2 shots (1 on goal).
· Sean Fatiga scored two goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
· Sean Fatiga started the show early scoring his first goal of the night at the 9:14 mark. The Pride would soon add on as
Eddie Grant would score at 22:20 assisted by
Sean Fatiga. Widener would keep the pressure on Penn State Abington and eventually secured their third goal of the half with a strike from
Michael Burckley at 38:25 assisted by
Michael Donaghy. The Pride defense was able to keep Penn State Brandywine from creating anything offensively leading to a three to zero score at the half.
· The Pride were not satisfied with their lead as they added on right out of halftime with
Jordi Lopez scoring at the 47:03 mark. It took Widener less than ten seconds of game time to increase their lead again as
Sean Fatiga scored his second goal of the night at 47:11 assisted by
Eddie Grant. The pride were still not satisfied with their lead as they kept pouring it on with the sixth goal of the night by
Bryan Gaviria at 62:06 assisted by
Michael Donaghy. After assisting on the last goal,
Michael Donaghy got in on the goal scoring adding the seventh goal of the night for The Pride at 69:04 assisted by
Michael Burckley. Widener never slowed down, and at the 86:01-mark
Hector Suriel was awarded a penalty kick and put it into the back of the net for The Pride's eighth goal of the night. The ninth and final goal of the night was scored by
Gage Meckley at 89:05 with an assist from
Kristen Howell. The Widener defense was able to continue their dominance from the first half and shut out Penn State Brandywine.
