EWING, N.J. – Saturday at the TCNJ Invite and Multi display Widener Men's Track and Field athletes for prep work before returning home.
TRACK
In the 100-meter dash timed final, Jonathan Hilliard led the Pride with a 12.01.
Edward Abel would follow with a 12.88. Both would register a new personal best.
The 200-meter dash saw another personal best from Hilliard as he clocked a 24.43.
Brion McNear (23.05) would lead the pack with
Josh Schreiner following in a 23.30.
McNear also saw competition in the 400-meter with a 51.13 along with Schreiner who ran a 52.09.
Jason DiMarco and Vincent Csercsevits closed out the 400 with a 54.76 and 55.36 respectively.
The 800-meter run saw a top 10 finish from
David Johnson with a 2:01.90.
James Plunkett and Michael Greene finished back-to-back with a 2:20.06 and 2:21.65.
In the mile, Patrick Carolan ran a 4:08.18 to lead
Tom Flear who clocked in at a 4:11.79.
Joe Nescio would follow three seconds behind in a 4:14.03.
Tristen Silverstein finished in a 16.63 preliminary time during the 110-meter hurdles and would end the day in a 17.08 final run.
Jonathan David took fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a 57.70 and a new personal best.
FIELD
On the field,
Matayo McGraw took sixth in the high jump where he marked a 1.84-meter height.
Jacob Grossman saw a 1.69-meter jump while
Alex Stempin marked a 1.64-meter jump.
McGraw closed his day with a new personal best in the triple jump as he marked a 13.97-meter distance. With his new best, he moves into fourth in the conference standings before the weekend results become final.
David Waters took three throws in the shot put to mark a final distance of 13.07-meter on his final attempt.
