Tom Flear takes win in 3000-meter run at Plex Shootout.
In the 60-meter dash,
Jacob Cappiello earned his conference qualification time after he clocked a 7.27.
Samuel Knowles took first in the 200-meter dash to run 22.61 which would be just better than last weeks' time.
Josh Schreiner followed close behind in a 23.93 to earn both a conference and regional cut.
Schreiner's weekend continued in the 400-meter where he picked up a second-place finish with a 52.93.
Ben Miller saw a 54.19 to earn his cuts.
The mile would feature
Joe Nescio who would earn a new personal best 4:28.22 and take second overall. Nescio's time slots him at 8
th overall in conference rankings.
Tom Flear continued to display top performance in the 3000-meter run as he took first with an 8:47.62 to slide him into second in MAC standings.
Gavin Kelly would finish with a 9:13.40 finishing two seconds shy of a best time.
In the 5000-meter, Zachary Rementer earned qualifying times for conference and regionals with a 15:57.97.
The quad of
Brion McNear,
Ben Miller,
Matayo McGraw, and Knowles took first in the 4x200 relay as the four finished in a 1:33.43.
In the field,
Jacob Grossman's high jump of 1.78-meters led the Pride. McGraw marked a 1.73-meter jump to earn a new personal best and conference standard.
McGraw saw another personal best in the long jump as he marked a 5.93-meter distance.
David Waters displayed his strength in the shot put where he threw a 14.53-meter throw to earn his standards for postseason.
The weight throw featured
Conrad Howell,
John Kodack, and Waters. Howell led the trio with a 15.71-meter mark to pick up his regional standard. Kodack marked a new personal best with a 13.60-meter throw and Waters rounded out the three with a 13.34-meter throw.
