The Pride Show Out in Boston and New York Earning Many Qualifying Times

Sam Knowles' 48.17 in the 400m Marks New PR

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y & Boston. - Multiple runners on the Men's Track and Field team qualify for MACs at Fastrack National Invite, and some runner put up great numbers at the David Hemery Valentine Invite. 

BOSTON 

Sam Knowles runs a blazing 48.17 at the 400-meter, a new personal best. Brion McNear ran 49.48, and Josh Schreiner ran a 51.51. All times qualified for Regionals, while McNear's time was .02 off from a PR. 

STATEN ISLAND 

In the 60-meter dash, Jacob Cappiello qualified for the MAC by running 7.26, while Tyler Ressler marks a new personal best with a time of 7.79. 

Joeseph Nescio qualified for MACs with a 8:46:74 time in the 3000-meter run. 

Thomas Flear was able to qualify for MACS and Regionals with a 5000-meter time of 14:58:93. 

In the 60-meter hurdles, Tristen Silverstein qualified for MACs with a time of 9.61. 

Matayo McGraw was able to qualify for MACs in the long jump and triple jump, marking 6.15 meters (a new PR) and 13.99 meters respectively. Jacob Grossman was also able to qualify with a triple jump mark of 12.43 meters. 

In shotput, David Waters was able to qualify for MACs with a throw of 14.16 meters. 

UP NEXT 

The Pride will travel to Haverford as they compete in the Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College. That meet will take place Saturday, February 17 at 11am.
