HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST STEVENSON
- Robbins opened the scoring up for Widener with a layup. Despite a 4-0 lead in the early minutes, both teams struggled to find the bottom of the net. Lindsay Kutz and Rachel Ludwig would add to the team's lead, as the Mustangs' offensive performance continued to slip. The teams exchanged shots with under a minute left, and the score stayed where it was after missed free throws by Stevenson. The score was 12-3 Widener after one.
- To begin the second quarter, a technical foul was called on Stevenson's bench. As a result, D'Ambrosio converted two foul shots. After the Pride built a 16-3 advantage, the Mustangs answered with their first triple. It was the start of a 13-0 run for the visitors, which tied the game. Widener responded with a 9-0 run of their own, led by Gianna and Lia Samuels' three-pointers. Not only did Gianna Samuels end the quarter with a jumper, but she also recorded four steals in the second quarter alone. The Pride led 27-18 at the half.
- Out of halftime, shots were not falling initially. However, a 7-0 run by Stevenson pulled them to within two points. The Pride took advantage of some Stevenson missed shots to put themselves up by double digits. Widener would score 20 points in the third quarter, the most of any quarter in the game. A Kimberly Casiello triple capped off the third quarter, as Widener led 47-34.
- In the fourth, Casiello and Baer kept up the attack on Stevenson's defense. Similar to the first, Widener held their opponent to under 10 points. Casiello hit another triple with under three minutes to go after Ludwig grabbed an offensive rebound. The Mustangs would add points toward the end of the quarter, but their deficit was hovering around 20 points. The Pride won 64-43.
