ANNVILLE, Pa. – Two hundred nineteen Widener University student-athletes have earned spots on the MAC Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester as announced by the conference office on Friday morning.
The Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll lists are made up of student-athletes from sports whose championship takes place in the spring semester: baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's indoor track and field, men's and women's outdoor track and field, and men's volleyball.
The 219 honorees — 130 of which made the Spring Sports Academic Honor Roll and 89 of which made the Winter Sports Academic Honor Roll — are the seventh-most among all MAC schools (18) and represent 61.6 percent of the winter/spring student-athlete population.
