For the second straight year, baseball's Nick D'Alessandro (Senior/Williamstown, N.J./Chemical Engineering) garnered Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, earning a spot on the First Team. D'Alessandro was a Second Team honoree a year ago and his honor marks the fourth straight year a Widener baseball player has been recognized.

The Pride was honored 12 times combined during the winter and spring seasons for Academic All-MAC performers. Martin Bohdan (Junior/Tobyhanna, Pa./Business) and Aaron Green (Senior/Camden-Wyoming, Del./Business) of men's swimming, Angelina Franceschini (Freshman/Lawrenceville, N.J/Bursing) and Lauren Griffith (Senior/Doylestown, Pa./Biology/Pre-Med) of women's swimming, Jamie Gosselin (Junior/Abington, Pa./Early Childhood & Special Education) of softball, Matt Lambert (Sophomore/Douglassville, Pa./Nursing) of men's volleyball, Frank Livolsi (Junior/Lansdale, Pa./Physics) of men's track & field, Kelly Lynch (Senior/Springfield, Pa./Civil Engineering) of women's lacrosse, Allison Reuter (Senior/Clayton, N.J./Early Childhood & Special Education) of women's track & field, Devan Rimmer (Junior/Perkasie, Pa./Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy) of women's basketball, and D'Alessandro each were recognized. Reuter was noted for both the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.

D'Alessandro, Livolsi, Reuter, and Aishah Dukes (Senior/Trenton, N.J./Criminal Justice/Social Work) were each honored by the athletics communications offices of the 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia metro region as Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area.

Overall, 214 Widener student-athletes earned a position in the Winter/Spring MAC Academic Honor Roll, representing nearly two-thirds of the student-athlete population for the Pride. 20 Widener student-athletes earned perfect 4.0 GPAs for their season of competition.
