Widener's women's team continued its season at the Middle Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championships in Center Valley, PA.

Ashley Callahan (Clementon, NJ) ended 50th in 27:26.12, fellow freshman Emily Conover (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ) ran in 30:42.09 and Bonnie Zwissler (St. Leonard, MD) stopped the clock in 31:29.00.

Dennis Conn (Morton, PA) finished in 12th place and fellow sophomore Michael Garrity (Briarcliffe, PA) was 18th for the men's team, which ended fourth for the second straight year.

Conn, who took 27th place last year, finished in 28:11.16.  Garrity, also named second team all-conference, ended in 28:35.66.

Junior Ian Hilliard (Allentown, PA), who last season was 19th and was tabbed second team All-MAC, just missed it this year as he took 21st in 28:43.24.

This capped a day in which Widener ended with 108 points, just two behind DeSales for third.  Elizabethtown won with 31.

Widener on November 14 takes part in the NCAA Mideast Regional in Bethlehem, PA.
