Former men's volleyball team captain Connor Johnson is in his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Pride.
Johnson was a charter member of the varsity men's volleyball team at Widener, the first men's sport to be added at the University in 50 years. He made a major impact on the team graduating as the all-time leader in digs (315), digs per set (1.90) and ranking fourth in service aces (21). Overall, he appeared in 51 of 52 possible matches during his three seasons.
The Glastonbury, Conn. native earned his BS in Business Management from Widener in 2020, specializing in human resources with a minor in finance.
