Sam Baer, coming off a phenomenal career with the Pride, is in her fourth year as an assistant coach for her alma mater. Baer proved her versatility by being named All-Commonwealth Conference four times at three different positions. She was second team all-league as a defender in 2006, first team all-conference as a forward in 2007 and first team as a midfielder the last two years. Baer also was second team All-Mid Atlantic Region in 2008 and third team in 2009. Named Widener’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2010, Baer graduated first in school history with 40 assists, second with 29 goals and second with 98 points. She graduated in 2010 with a degree in Psychology.
