Widener University Athletics

Kyle Benton is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Pride. Benton in 2009 served as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator for the University of California at Santa Cruz. He also has been a summer counselor with the Tri-Town Summer Recreation in New York, the St. Lawrence Lacrosse Camp and the Camp Winaukee in New Hampshire. Benton competed four seasons for St. Lawrence, winning four Liberty League titles and playing in the NCAA Tournament each year. He also was a four-time member of the Liberty League All-Academic Team. Benton graduated St. Lawrence in 2009 with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Psychology.
