Widener University Athletics

Chris McDevitt is in his first year as an assistant coach for the Pride, bring the total of Widener alums on the staff to four. McDevitt had a strong four-year career in which he recorded 569 points, 113 three-pointers, 197 baskets, 150 rebounds, 145 assists and competed in 96 contests. He was a part of two Commonwealth Conference championship teams (2008, 2009) and helped the Pride host an NCAA Tournament sub-regional in 2009. McDevitt in March 2010 was one of four Widener student-athletes who participated at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis. In the summer of 2010, he went on a tour of Europe along with several other players as part of an eight-day trip that included sightseeing, basketball and fun. McDevitt graduated Widener in 2011 with a degree in Sport Management.
