Widener University Athletics

Terry Owens is in his first year as the running backs coach for Widener. Owens spent 2009 as the cornerbacks coach for Millersville University as well as the team’s video coordinator. He also was the co-defensive coordinator at Bensalem High School in 2008, the wide receivers coach at Kutztown in 2001 and an intern with the Washington Redskins in 1997. Owens was a four-year starter at Kutztown and a three-time all-conference pick. He also has served as a guest coach at both Colorado and Notre Dame. Owens in 2010 is expected to receive his B.S. in Journalism and English Literature from Kutztown. He has a son Nathan, 8, and a daughter Jada, 5.
