Widener University Athletics

Bob Napp is in his third year in his second stint as Widener assistant coach and will serve as an offensive consultant. Napp arrived after coaching two seasons for West Chester East HS as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. He served an offensive coordinator at Bishop Shanahan HS from 1999-2003, offensive coordinator at Pierce Middle School from 1996-99 and offensive coordinator at Cardinal O’Hara HS in 1994. Napp’s first go-around at Widener had him as the quarterbacks and fullbacks coach in 1988. He was the head coach at Upper Darby HS from 1986-87 after two seasons as a graduate assistant at Temple University. Napp received a BS in Secondary Education with a concentration toward Mathematics from West Chester University in 1972. He earned his Master’s in Secondary Education from WCU in 1978.
