Widener University Athletics

Jackie Girard is in her second season as an assistant coach with Widener. Girard in 2006 served as JV coach at Council Rock North High School and in 2005-06 was an assistant coach in field hockey and girls’ basketball at The George School. She also coached a club field hockey team at the United Sports Training Center in 2004. Girard played four seasons at Kutztown University, where she was named team captain and a PSAC Scholar-Athlete her senior year. She also was named to the Dean’s List her last two years. Girard played high school field hockey at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, where she was named first team All-Catholic League and also to the Golden Team by the Courier Times. Girard graduated Kutztown University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, concentrating toward Math.
