Widener struck first in the opening set with a kill from Wannamaker off a set by Sandberg to take a 1–0 lead. Njokanma added an early kill to keep the Pride close at 3–2, and Widener continued to chip away with points from erros and another kill by Wannamaker to make it 13–6. After Arcadia extended its lead, Widener responded with a service ace from Wannamaker and a kill from Stephen Marquis to narrow the margin to 22–16. The Pride continued to battle late in the set as Sandberg recorded a service ace and Njokanma and Dahl added kills to bring the score to 23–18 and later 24–20, but Arcadia secured the final point to take the set 25–20.

Arcadia opened the second set with a 2–0 lead before Widener answered with a kill from Wannamaker and a service ace from Sandberg to tie the set at 2–2. Marquis added a kill to keep the Pride within reach at 6–5, while another kill from Wannamaker and a block from Njokanma and Wannamaker helped Widener stay close at 10–8. The Knights gradually extended their lead, but the Pride continued to respond with points from Wannamaker, Dahl, and Josh Akinwale to make it 18–14. The Pride added late kills from Dahl and another from Marquis to trim the deficit to 21–18, but Arcadia closed the set with a late run to secure the 25–18 win.

Arcadia took the early edge in the third set, but Widener stayed within reach as Wannamaker recorded a kill off a set from Sandberg to tie the score at 1–1. Akinwale and Njokanma added key points to keep the Pride close at 12–8, while Njokanma later contributed multiple kills to narrow the gap to 14–10. Widener continued to battle with points from Sandberg and a block from Akinwale and Wannamaker that cut the deficit to 16–14. The Pride added late kills from Wannamaker and Njokanma to stay in the set at 18–15 and 22–17, but Arcadia closed the match with a final run to secure the 25–17 set victory.
